Burlingame High School Students Reimagine the Bayfront
Mar 29, 2016 at 11:47am
Three classes of architecture students at Burlingame High School are working on a semester-long project as part of the Envision Burlingame process.
Students in Anna Liu's BHS architecture classes are working on planning and design ideas to improve Burlingame's Bayfront. With the help of MIG and City staff, the students learned about the General Plan process and took a field trip to the Bayfront, where they recorded their observations on maps and sketched their ideas.
Throughout the semester, students will work on proposals for specific Bayfront sites, culminating in presentations at the Envision Burlingame Community Workshop on May 21st. Attend the workshop to hear these creative young people's ideas for Burlingame! More information about the BHS Bayfront Project is available here, and details about the upcoming community workshop are available here.
